Gandhi Mission International CBSE School was founded by Honorable Chairman Muruganantham G. He has always considered money as a means to promote human welfare through dissemination of knowledge. The school was started with classes Pre-Nursery to V to impart broad-based education to boys and girls with an aim to develop their minds and also their physique, skills, personality and leadership traits to shape them into worthy and dynamic citizens. His vision has involved evaluating and completely redesigning the physical learning spaces of our school, including, implementing new learning and teaching methodologies as well as placing an emphasis on ensuring that our teachers successfully take on the mantle of the new-age educational guides and facilitators.

The process of learning should prove to be the discovery of skills and talent of a child. It must be designed in such a way that a child feels confident and comfortable in scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities. We do believe that true education makes a child a versatile, resourceful and responsible personality who is always ready to make concerted efforts for the well-being to society. It is really a matter of great pride that all are known as the excellent exponents of cognitive, affective and psycho motor domains. Our management and staff leave no stone unturned to make the learning process vivacious and vibrant.

Because of this noble approach we are pioneers of quality education in town. May almighty bless us with the strength to develop or serving potential by leaps and bounds. The strength of the education system at Gandhi Mission International School is the presence of creative and innovative atmosphere nurtured by the self exploration, to enquire, to experiment and to find the truth in the best spirit of comradeship and indomitable will. Student physical development is catalyzed across intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual and aesthetic domains. Student progress is facilitated through a mature and mutually benefiting school-parent relationship.

At Gandhi Mission International CBSE School children and adults work in a holistic way by integrating spiritual, moral, aesthetic, physical, social, emotional and intellectual strands into our everyday lives and practice. Children are supported to achieve high standards of self- discipline, a strong work ethic, effective social skills and an accomplished intellect. We strongly encourage the children to be responsible for themselves their conduct, their responsibility; their time management; their environment and their community. In order to engender this sense of responsibility, we constantly engage the children in matters relating to the running of the school, from educational matters to health and safety; from choosing which charities to support to managing the risks associated with a woodland setting and encountering potentially harmful plants and insects.

The children expect to be involved and this is evident in the day-to-day, ad hoc conversations as you walk through school as well as in the formal school council meetings with their House Leaders. Our expectation is that the character traits we foment have a significant impact on their learning. We all lead by example, recognizing that independence requires support and guidance. Adults and children are addressed appropriately; first names are the norm throughout the school and help our visiting pre-scholars and youngest children to form successful relationships quickly with school staff. As children grow, they are taught and shown other forms of address. We behave this way because we believe that full participation and involvement in life at Gandhi Mission equips children with the personal development, experiences and character to flourish.
