Middle school is a time for forming strong opinions and learning to express them clearly. Debate clubs provide a valuable platform for students to do just that. Here, we can research different sides of an issue, develop logical arguments, and refine our public speaking skills.
Debating teaches us to think critically, consider opposing viewpoints, and articulate our ideas with confidence. This not only benefits us in the classroom but also equips us to be well-rounded individuals who can effectively communicate in any situation.
Stepping into 10th grade feels like crossing a threshold. The playful innocence of lower grades fades, replaced by a burgeoning sense of purpose. Academic expectations rise, and the looming board exams cast a long shadow. Yet, amidst the pressure, there’s an exciting energy.
We’re no longer passive learners; we’re actively preparing for a future brimming with possibilities. This year is a crucible, forging us into young adults ready to take on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
